The criteria found on the rubric below will be used to assess the quality of your mini paper related to the pop culture topic you selected.

Total Points for Course = 400 points
A = 363 pts. to  400 pts. 
B = 322 pts. to 362  pts
I = less than 322 pts. Must resubmit
Discussion = 200 points (20 points per week)
Pop Culture Reflection paper (Module 3) = 30 pts
Book Talk Plan (Module 4) = 60 pts
Final Project (Module 8) = 80 pts
Final Reflection (Module 9) = 30 pts

Paper does not include references to authoritative sources.  Paper relies on personal opinion/knowledge.

Quality of Writing Content is interesting and accurately presented.

Written paper is free of grammatical, spelling or punctuation errors. The style of writing is clear and concise.

As stated in the assignment instructions:
  1. In the copy you submit for evaluation (in the drop box) you must include a paragraph naming your collaborators (peer reviewers), their responses to your paper, and your reaction/changes to those responses.
  2. PLEASE include a "yes" or "no" regarding permission to post to the instructor's "example" website or not.  Granting permission is always optional but the statement must be included.

Not "evaluated" but each is a component that MUST be included.  FIVE point deduction if either element is missing.
