Comments from Past Participants:

The biggest "aha" was how much I learned about things I already thought I was doing well – setting objectives, questioning, non-linguistic representations, group work, homework, etc. There wasn't a single module where I didn’t have to think more deeply about how and why I do things and also come up with new ideas to do things differently.

The new technology suggestions that I will try next year are a class wiki and getting students to make video podcast summaries of 'how to do…' type activities. I am actually excited about going back to school!"

“You gave me so many opportunities to better my teaching.  I know it will take me a few more months for some of this be assimilated.  I never thought I wanted a Smart Board, but now I will be writing a grant for the department. This has really gotten me out of my trench and into the battle.”

“As the course went along I developed a much better understanding of technologies such as wikis, blogs, and podcasting. With what I have learned, I feel confident that we will start integrating these into the curriculum in the coming school year. I look forward to sharing with my teachers the practical suggestions (such as the low-cost alternative to document cameras) and the many helpful web sites that all of you shared with me. "
