Mandy Hockenbrock teaches Differentiation in the Classroom and has teaching experience within the Maryland Public School System, as well as at the undergraduate and graduate school levels and high school distance education.  She has successfully developed and taught online education courses as an adjunct instructor for various professional development programs and universities. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with other educators through workshops, curriculum development, standards alignment, and professional development programs. Mandy has been a presenter at education conferences, including:

Mrs. Hockenbrock earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. She has a Master’s Degree in Leadership in Teaching from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and earned a Certificate in Distance Education from Indiana University in 2004. 

Mandy is very passionate about seeing every child succeed.  One of her greatest attributes is her interest in students.  She is supportive of students demonstrating their talents through a wide array of activities and is a true believer of active learning and attention to varied learning styles.  She captivates her students’ attention and respect by treating them as individual learners.

Mandy, her husband, and two beautiful daughters reside on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  When Mandy is not teaching, she and her family explore the sea life along the coastline and let their dogs swim in the ocean.  She is very involved in Girl Scouts and helping young girls experience new opportunities.
