Datta Kaur Khalsa teaches Assessment and Evaluation in the Online Classroom and has over thirty years experience in education. She has been involved with administration, program development and teacher training in a number of university and K-12 settings. Presently she is a K-12 school director and administrator in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Khalsa earned her Ph.D. with the University of Maryland, completing a dissertation that helped increase understanding related to implementation and training for global project-based learning in the U.S. K-12 classrooms. She received her Masters of Education Degree in Online Teaching and Learning from California State University, East Bay.
Dr. Khalsa’s current research interests include online teaching and learning assessment and virtual teamwork, social computing, online communities, as well as the policy, training and organizational structure related to application of cross-cultural communication in multidisciplinary K-12 curriculum.
