Please use this self-evaluation rubric as you prepare your discussion posts and responses for the week.

The following rubric attempts to quantify the best practices of online discussion.
Consider the criteria as you create your primary posts and craft your responses.
By the end of the module complete the D2L based self-evaluation survey available via the link in the navigation menu illustrated below.

Response Techniques:

Expand on the topic.
Offer a different perspective
Provide an online resource relevant to the topic (include a hyperlink)
Provide a summary of the ideas posted so far (good when you come late to the conversation).
Ask a specific question (but avoid prompting yes or no answers).
Ask an open ended (on topic) question.
