Making Your Website a Learning Center
EDUC 744 939 3 semester hours graduate credit
Instructor: Jim Erbe
Description: Application of the principles of message design, visual and media literacy to interactive web-based learning experiences. Design of web-based instructional materials across the curriculum.
Learn how to make your website a central part of instruction for students and home/school communication with parents. Using Dreamweaver software, you will apply basic principles of message design in the development of Web-based communications with learners and apply principles of visual and media literacy when creating online instructional and professional communication materials. Prerequisite: Beginning Web Page Design for Educators is recommended, but not required. All participants should have some background experience using one of the following: FrontPage, Pagemaker, Claris HomePage or HTML.

Because this class is asynchronous and open to you 24/7, you may participate from your home or work computer during hours that are best for your work and family schedule.
