EDUC-727 Supervision of Student Course

UW-Stout offers this 2-credit graduate level course during the summer session. The course is delivered in an online format. The course tuition will be waived upon successful completion of course requirements. This course is designed to meet the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's cooperating teacher requirement of training in the supervision of teacher candidates.

The course content includes, but is not limited to, an introduction to UW-Stout School of Education's conceptual framework, assessments, student teaching handbook, roles and responsibilities of a cooperating teacher, expectations of the teacher candidate and licensure requirements such as the edTPA (educative teacher performance assessment).

Applications for this course are typically accepted up to approximately one week prior to the start of class on a first-come first-served basis.
