Cooperating Teachers

Welcome Cooperating Teachers!

It is noble to teach oneself; it is still nobler to teach others. ~Mark Twain~

Introduction

This website is designed for educational professionals who are interested in mentoring student teachers from UW-Stout or another institution of higher education. Our hope is that this website will serve as a valuable resource to our PK-12 partners, offering updates on School of Education student teaching criteria, policies and procedures.

Professional educators who wish to serve as cooperating teachers may choose from the two options UW-Stout offers in the training in the supervision of student teachers as required by Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction.

The following options are offered by UW-Stout:
EDUC-727 Supervision of Student Teachers
Cooperating Teacher Module.
