University of Wisconsin - Stout

Eligibility

With the exception of School Counseling, candidates for a post-baccalaureate non-degree, add-on certification through the University of Wisconsin-Stout must hold an educational degree from an accredited institution and be eligible for, or hold, at least one PK-12 teaching license.

The following post-baccalaureate non-degree, add-on certifications have additional eligibility requirements:

Adaptive Education - requires eligibility for a Wisconsin PK-12 education license

Early Childhood-Middle Childhood Education - requires eligibility for a Wisconsin education early childhood license level 70 and successful completion of Praxis II test 10014

Reading Teacher - must have completed a minimum of two years of teaching experience by the time requirements are completed for licensure endorsement

 

Teacher candidates without a prior education degree and eligibility for at least one PK-12 teaching license must complete an education degree with the certification requirements.
