WinterM Parking Information

Parking on the UW-Stout campus is regulated throughout the entire year including during semester breaks.  Parking for students attending WinTerM session classes is available.  Please follow the instructions pertaining to your status as listed below.

You do not have a parking permit

  • Purchase a permit ($15/WinTerM) from Parking Services.  Both commuter permits and University Housing permits are available.
  • Purchase time at a meter.  The campus provides ten hour term meters.

You have a current-year commuter permit

  • Display your permit and park as you do during the semester.
  • If you are a commuter during the regular semester but are staying in University Housing during WinTerM you may contact Parking Services to receive a temporary (no cost) permit for a housing parking lot.  IMPORTANT - Anyone staying in University Housing must park in a housing lot because commuter lots prohibit overnight parking.

  • Park in Lot 4 or 17 (Lots 15 and 34 are closed)

  • If you have a Y-permit but live in north campus housing you may request a north campus WinTerM permit (no cost) for semester break.
