A vehicle may only park at a meter that will accept payment.
If you encounter a meter that is not operating correctly, you should move to a another meter that will accept payment.
If you park at a non-functioning meter and call Parking Services immediately, you will receive clearance for one hour. A call must be received before a citation is issued and the caller must provide his/her name, vehicle license plate, parking lot number, and meter number.
If you've deposited coin in a meter and have not received time, you may report that loss to Parking Services. The meter will be checked for proper operation. If a defect is verified a refund will be provided.
