How To Park Legally - Spaces

Park in a Legal Space

Always park in a legal space.  A legal space is defined as:

  • Within pavement stripes in a paved lot
  • Head in, against a bumper block or yellow rope in a gravel lot.
  • Inside end-of-row signs (when present) in a gravel lot

Unauthorized parking in any area other than one identified above is always prohibited.  Areas that are not designated as parking spaces are prohibited 24 hours, every day.

If you do need to park outside a legal space, as defined above, you must receive prior authorization from Parking Services.
