Spring Awakening is a rock musical based on the 1891 German play by Frank Wedekind.  Radical in 1891 its themes still resonate with contemporary audiences, evidenced by the critical and commercial success the musical had after it opened in 2006.  The musical won 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The story explores the lives of a group of adolescents who are beginning to question the established philosophical and behavioral mores forced upon them by society.  They find themselves in conflict with the existing social structures as they begin to embrace and explore their intellectual, sexual and spiritual identities.

*       Intended for mature audiences.  Production contains strong language and sexual content.
