We are excited to announce that UW-Stout will support a limited number of undergraduate students to travel to and present at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), April 15-17, 2010 at University of Montana, Missoula, MT.  We hope to have representation from each of the four colleges.

Abstracts representing undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study are now being accepted.  Presentation categories are:

You must act quickly! The deadline to submit an abstract (250-300 words) is Friday, December 4, 2009.

Submit abstracts online at www.umt.edu/ncur2010/.

NCUR will notify students of abstract acceptance by January 15, 2010.  A campus NCUR Selection Committee will then judge the abstracts and notify students of selection.  Only one student per abstract will be eligible for full funding.

If your abstract is accepted by NCUR but you are not selected to receive full funding, we will pay your registration fee.  You may also submit a dissemination proposal for consideration to the Student Research Grant Fund. If funded, the grant can be used to help with travel costs. Additional costs will be the individual responsibility of each student.
