Registration Cancellation


If you register and decide not to attend, you must notify the Registration and Records Office immediately in writing (or by e-mail to registrar@uwstout.edu). Because of your registration request, spaces in classes are reserved for you and cannot be given to other students unless you notify Registration and Records that you are not planning to attend.

By the act of registration, a student accepts the responsibility of fee payment. Non-attendance does not constitute a cancellation of registration. Failure to attend courses for which you are registered will result in assessment of appropriate fees and a possible mark of “F” in the course. You may cancel prior to the beginning of the course by calling 715/232-1092 and mailing a follow-up letter to:

UW System policy requires that notification is to be in writing.
