A speaker support team is available to assist all presenters. These individuals will be available throughout the meeting to ensure your success. Please do not hesitate to utilize their services. Laptop computers, network connectivity, video/data projectors and a variety of audio/visual technologies will be available. 

Preparation and Technical Support

Please see a staff person in 214 Memorial Student Center to test your presentation, resolve any technical issues or consult with technical staff. If at all possible, please stop by the room at least one hour prior to your presentation.

Send Presentation in Advance

Electronic presentations received in advance will be installed and tested on our campus equipment prior to the meeting, and will be available for you during the meeting on UW-Stout equipment.

• Send an email to eventservices@uwstout.edu, as well as to Board of Regents Assistant Secretary, Ann Nottestad at anottestad@uwsa.edu and UW System Web Developer, Linda Ruiz at lruiz@uwsa.edu, at least one day prior to your scheduled presentation.

Or provide a link:

• Send a link to your presentation to eventservices@uwstout.edu. UW-Stout technical support staff will download, install and test your presentation.
  

Using Your Own Laptop

If you plan to use your own laptop at the meeting, please bring a backup copy of your presentation on CD-ROM or USB Flash Drive. Our staff will install the backup on our equipment and test it in your meeting room prior to your presentation. This will provide a readily available alternative in the event of equipment failure.

Staff in 214 Memorial Student Center can arrange to have a projector available to test your computer's "monitor out" connection and sound capability. Network access issues or problems can also be addressed.
