Facility Use Priorities

All Recreation/Athletic Complex Facilities, indoor and outdoor, are categorized as multi-use to maximize program usage to all groups. The Recreation/Athletic Complex Facility Manager will administer and enforce all policies and procedures pertaining to the Recreation/Athletic Complex.

This policy clarifies facility priority use for all Recreation/Athletic Complex facilities. These facilities include the following indoor and outdoor areas: Johnson Fieldhouse, Multipurpose Room, Swimming pool, West Gym, Academic classrooms, 400 meter track, artificial surface field, stadium, baseball, soccer, softball, multipurpose fields, tennis and volleyball courts, and archery course. All facilities listed above require a reservation in advance to secure and guarantee usage from the Recreation/Athletic Complex Office. University Recreation and Athletics will designate a staff member to coordinate usage of facilities with the Recreation/Athletic Complex office.

General Priority Use of Facilities:

  1. UW-Stout Academic Classes*
     
  2. UW-Stout Athletic Practices & competition
     
  3. UW-Stout University Recreation
     
  4. University Administrative Events/University Groups outside the first three departments listed above.
     
  5. Non-University Groups

University and Non-university Groups can request use of facilities through established reservation procedures.
 

* The final class schedule established by Registrar's Office will be placed into a block schedule. All other open times will be available for reservation.
