The Quality Management certification program addresses certificate methods for improving organizational effectiveness through increased productivity, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
This certificate is appropriate for staff and line professionals in all facets of manufacturing and service organizations.
The certificate program is designed to provide technical and professional responsibility at the Sigma Six Green Belt level to those in industry. Students in this program are prepared for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Six Sigma certification through examinations upon completion of a project through their organizations.
Any person interested in quality management and/or Six Sigma–Green Belt Certification may enroll. To get started, apply online to UW-Stout as a “special” student (non-degree seeking). Applications can be found online: undergraduate students | graduate students.
This course set leads to a certificate only. If you’re interested in applying these credits toward a Master’s or Education Specialist degree, please visit the degree programs website.
