Program Application

To enroll in the online M.S. degree in Technology Education, you must apply to the UW-Stout Graduate School.

Admission Eligibility

To be admitted with full status to the M.S. degree in Technology Education program, you must:
  • Be a fully licensed teacher
  • Hold an appropriate bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Have an overall grade point average of at least 2.75

Application Review Process

The program director or a program admissions committee will review all applications. To be successful, an application must include a personal statement that clearly establishes your goals at least in terms of your desire to:
  • Become a master teacher
  • Design and assess the curriculum and program for use in your classroom
  • Improve your teaching strategies and/or to maintain teaching skills related to technology


These goals are important to your studies and will be assessed as benchmarks toward degree program completion.

Transfer Credit

Up to 10 credits may be transferred from another university with program director and Graduate School approval.
