Please use the tentative course schedule and program plan sheet for planning the courses you will need to take each semester
PLEASE REGISTER EARLY for the courses you need. The university needs to fill a certain percentage of the available seats in order for a course to be offered. If you think you may take a course, register. You can always drop a course prior to its start date without penalty. If the class reaches its capacity prior to the course start date, you will not be able to register. Again, if you do not plan your schedule ahead of time, you will run the risk of either not obtaining a seat in a course you need to take, or courses could be cancelled if there seems to be no interest in students registering for them.
Register Online
Many of our courses -- cohort and on-campus -- are available for online registration through Access Stout. Start under "current students." Your username and password are the same as those for your UW-Stout e-mail account.
Adding, Dropping and Repeating Courses
For detailed information on these policies, please visit http://www.uwstout.edu/regrec/add.html. UW-Stout holds firm on these policies – if you choose to ignore university policy, it could result in a loss of time, energy, and money! Please be sure you are familiar with the add/drop policies – if you have questions, please ask – we will be happy to provide or find answers for you.
Keep in mind that weekend courses are prorated on these policies – It is best to drop on or before the course start date to reduce or eliminate problems in getting your tuition money back.
