Converting operational understanding and drive strategic thinking of future leaders.  The restructured Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism will turn managers into leaders by changing the way you think about business, consumers, hospitality and service.   

With more than 35 years of experience, the School of Hospitality Leadership has changed the way industry looks at graduate education.  Our new degree, which will begin accepting applications June 1, will be professionally focused with 10 courses offered in 8-week, online blocks — allowing you to focus on your career while gaining the knowledge needed for professional advancement.  

Our curriculum focuses on adding strategic knowledge to your established skill set. Course topics include relevant topics, such as: revenue and pricing, customer experiences, service assessment, value creation, business intelligence, and digital marketing strategy among others.  

To prepare you for marketplace realities, every course will include a core set of learning foci, including:  global perspectives of hospitality, financial-focused outcomes, going beyond customer service, and driving innovation. 

As we begin to accept applications June 1, our first class will be offered in January of 2014. This one-week course, which sets the stage for your educational success, will be an introduction to your peers and the degree you’re pursuing.
