University of Wisconsin - Stout

More than 30 dietetic professionals supervise and teach UW-Stout dietetic interns. In addition to the registered dietitian preceptors, interns learn from nurses, speech therapists, pharmacists, physicians, occupational therapists, certified dietary managers, foodservice administrators, and public health professionals.

Nearly half of the registered dietitian preceptors have a masters degree (MS, MPH, and MBA) and three are further credentialed (certified diabetes educator or certified lactation educators). The UW-Stout dietetic internship preceptors are dedicated to the dietetics profession; serving on a voluntary basis, they provide invaluable guidance and direction.
