Many non-profit organizations and government programs require a formal evaluation to secure grants or other funding sources. Evaluators help such organizations improve their programming through the application of social science research methods. Specific skills include program planning and development, needs assessments, measuring program effectiveness and implementation.
You are analytical and enjoy solving real-world problems. You have strong critical thinking skills and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced setting. You are interested in working with businesses or organizations to help them most effectively and efficiently implement programs or interventions.
