Hmong Stout Student Organization
(HSSO)
Hmong Stout Student Organization (HSSO) is a multicultural student organization supports and encourages the growth of diversity on campus. Membership is open to all graduate and undergraduate students who are attending UW-Stout who would like to learn more about our culture and organization. Moreover, we provide assistance to Hmong students in their social and educational adjustment to UW-Stout and the community.

Latinos Unidos promotes community awareness and understanding on campus and in the community of the Latin Cultures in the U.S. and abroad.


Native American Student Organization
(NASO)
NASO is an organization which brings people of different Native American backgrounds together with other non-Indian students to foster an awareness of the rich cultural heritages of Native Americans.

Campus Resources

Ally Center
The Ally Center is home to all UW-Stout community members who are interested in exploring and affirming differences among us. The Ally Center is also used for receptions in conjunction with special events. Ally Center resources are available to borrow (books, DVD's other culturally-related info) upon request.

Pride Alliance
Promote the success of all UWS students, staff, and faculty and support the development and dissemination of new knowledge concerning LGBTQ people and issues.

STEPS: Science Technology and Engineering Preview
STEPS is a one-week summer campus introduction to the exciting world of science, technology and engineering for girls between their 6th and 7th grade in school.
