Introduction

The Social Studies Teaching minor complements related education programs making graduates more marketable in Wisconsin school districts. The minor enables students to acquire portfolio evidence of competence in content and teaching methods through coursework in the respective social studies discipline areas. Upon completion of the minor, students will be able to pass the broadfield Social Studies Content Knowledge test.
