Academic Minor in Environmental Studies

The primary focus of the Environmental Studies minor is to provide opportunities to connect university students to various environmentally based community outreach programs. The required courses in science, combined with the necessary coursework from the three colleges provide students with an understanding of the interdisciplinary relationships of the sciences and other non-science fields of study such as business, and hospitality and tourism. Students graduating with an Environmental Studies minor will have a broader understanding of the complexities of their field of study and related environmental issues.
