Dietetic Internship

'Nutrition Throughout the Life Cycle' is the emphasis of the UW-Stout Dietetic Internship program. The internship provides a wide range of experiences in a variety of settings, covering these areas:
 
  • Inpatient Clinical
  • Outpatient Clinical
  • Hospital Food Service
  • School Food Service
  • Community/Public Health
The program requires completion of a graduate degree prior to starting the internship, as well as registration for 18 graduate credits in supervised practice (FN-865).

Accreditation

The University of Wisconsin-Stout Dietetic Internship is currently granted continuing accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, 312/899-0040 ext. 5400.
