Scholarships

Through the Stout University Foundation, there are a number of endowed scholarships specifically available to manufacturing engineering students. In addition, there are several endowed scholarships available to students within the College of Technology, Engineering and Management. Along with the Stout Foundation opportunities below, most of the professional societies, like SME, SAE, AFS and ASME, offer scholarships through their own education foundations.

Rath Foundation Merit Scholarship ($9000)
This scholarship, renewable for up to four years, is available to entering freshmen or sophomore/junior transfers who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement.

John Entorf Scholarship ($1,200)
This scholarship provides support for a junior/senior with preference given to a student who has completed an internship. It is awarded to an Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering student.

Frank Cervenka Memorial Scholarship ($500)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering.

Arland and Eleanor M. Larson Endowed Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship ($1,900)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering.

Fulton and Edna Holtby Scholarship ($1,000 to $3,000)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering. Number of awards per year varies.

Fiskars Manufacturing Engineering Endowed Scholarship ($200)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering with junior or senior standing.

Garrot and Dewey Barich Endowed Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship ($300)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering with junior or senior standing.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship ($250)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in  Manufacturing Engineering.

Donal C. Beran Endowed Scholarship  ($700)
This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering.

Ruth Hophensperger Jennerjahn and Brian M. Jennerjahn  Scholarship ($7,000)
Two scholarships awarded each year on a rotating basis with with other schools. For 2014-15 they will be awarded to Manufacturing Engineering majors. 

Horton Inc. Scholarships ($1,000 to $2,000)
Awarded to Manufacturing Engineering students.
