Information for Transfer Students

Transfer students, second degree students, and change of major students must complete the following courses before acceptance to the Dietetic program:

  • MATH-120
  • CHEM-125 or 135
  • BIO-234


Additionally, obtaining a B.S. in Dietetics is only the first step in a three-step process to become a Registered Dietitian. Please see the Dietetic Internship section for more information.

It is important and extremely helpful to discuss transferring, returning for a second degree, or changing a major to Dietetics with the program director or program adviser:
