The B.S. in Career, Technical Education and Training program prepares you to teach in post-high school settings such as junior colleges, public and private technical colleges, and industrial training programs. As a graduate, you'll train and retrain adult workers in the critical skills needed to excel in today's workplace.

This degree completion program is designed for non-traditional students. These students are often technical college graduates, who, after working several years, have decided to become a certified teacher or trainer. With an earned associate's degree, this convenient online program allows students to complete their bachelor's degree in two years with year-round registration.

Program Highlights:

  • Nationally and internationally recognized program attracts students from across the country and around the world
  • Earn Wisconsin Technical College System teaching certification while completing your degree
  • Option to earn a specialization in Training and Human Resource Development
  • Financial aid options available
  • Discipline-focused curriculum

From a B.S. CTET Student

"Thanks for helping me achieve my dreams of completing my B.S. CTET degree. The dedicated instruction, geared to the non-traditional student, allowed me to complete all of my coursework as a distance learner. Instructors were very knowledgeable in their areas of expertise and showed a genuine concern for my success. This program allowed me to keep my full-time teaching job with a technical college while earning my degree. I strongly recommend UW-Stout to any aspiring professional."
