There are three primary sources for Construction program students to receive scholarships. The Stout University Foundation offers a variety of scholarships, with nine scholarships devoted annually to construction students. The second source is through the Construction Program Industry Advisory Board. Lastly, many Construction program students have successfully been awarded scholarships from industry professional and private organizations. 

UW-Stout Construction program students are successful in obtaining all varieties of scholarships. In academic year 2011–12, more than $48,000 in scholarship money was awarded to approximately 27 different construction program students!

Stout University Foundation scholarships that were awarded to Construction program students during the 2011-12 academic year include the following:

• Anonymous Donor Scholarship - $750
• Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association Scholarship - $500
• Jeremy Eckerman Memorial Scholarship - $375
• Shane M. Hopfensperger Memorial Scholarship - $500
• Chris Huston Endowed Construction Scholarship - $1,500
• Minnesota Construction Association Scholarship - $1,500
• Sigma Lambda Chi Construction Scholarship - $350
• Student Construction Association Scholarship - $375
• John Vranak Memorial Scholarship - $500
  

Construction Industry Advisory Board scholarships that were awarded to Construction Program Students during the 2011-2012 academic year include the following:

• Freshman student scholarship - $500
• Sophomore student scholarship - $500
• Junior student scholarship - $500
• Senior student scholarship - $1,000
