The advantages of being a Psi Chi member are that it provides national recognition for academic excellence in psychology, which looks great on a resume. Also members have a chance to build one-on-one relationships with their peers and faculty members of the psychology department. Psi Chi encourages student research through undergraduate and graduate research symposiums. As a member, Psi Chi also offers opportunities to be involved with community service. The greatest advantage to Psi Chi is that once students are inducted, they are members for life!

Psychology Club

Psychology Club's purpose is to provide leadership possibilities for students and give them an opportunity to explore and expand their interests. The Psychology club does not restrict its members to only psychology majors. The club allows and wants students from all different majors in order to help diversify our membership. The club works together with other organizations on campus to put on events, such as the annual Psychology Club Brat-fry, which is held every year during family weekend. Psychology Club's overall main goal is to help students through school and prepare them for the future.
