Spanish for the Workplace Online Courses

University of Wisconsin-Stout has partnered with Pronto Spanish®, the leader in online occupational Spanish courses, to offer their "Spanish for the Workplace Online" series—the first on-line Spanish series devoted entirely to learning the basics of conversational Spanish to use at one's job. These Spanish courses are designed for bridging the communication gap specifically in the workplace.

Course benefits:

• learn over 600 industry-specific Spanish words and phrases that are most relevant to you
• view photos associated with words and phrases for better retention
• hear proper pronunciation to help develop your understanding as well as speaking ability
• read intuitive reading exercises to help you become familiar with the words in context
• assess your comprehension with quizzes to help you measure your progress
• understand values of many Spanish speakers by reading cultural lessons
• self-paced with instructor available to answer any questions
• complete the course when and where you want during the 6 months
• includes printable guides of the phrases so you can have them available to you wherever you are
• instant access to the course through the Online Learning Center

The courses are self-paced and have unlimited access for 6 months. People can try a sample lesson prior to purchase. When a participant has confirmed the course, the participant has 6 months from that date to complete the course.

CEUs: UW-Stout and the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) offer CEUs. The number of CEUs and approximate number of hours to complete each course is listed below. Successful completion means that participants have passed the final exam with at least 80%.
