Our high-impact Lean Certification training is offered through a partnership with the Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center (NWMOC), headquartered at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and Chippewa Valley Technical College. NWMOC experts in Lean manufacturing come to the classroom to deliver targeted training with real-world application.
Their expertise and hands-on experience working with manufacturers around the state will provide you with answers and solutions that you can immediately put into practice. On the shop floor and in office environments Lean manufacturing is changing businesses around the world through techniques that translate directly into bottom line profits. It is not uncommon for manufacturers to save $10,000 to $100,000 or more by implementing simple Lean manufacturing techniques.
The Lean Certification Series is designed for individuals charged with leading the implementation of Lean within their organization, resident experts or those advancing within the organization.
Lean implementation at your company will have a dramatic impact on your top and bottom line. Some of the gains your company may experience:
To earn Lean Certification individuals must first understand the cornerstone principles of Lean by completing five full-day Lean workshops that include hands-on simulations and individual project mentoring by an NWMOC Project Manager. Following these initial sessions, mentors will help individuals coordinate an on-site Lean Certification project. In the final sixth session, each project is presented to peers and Lean experts to gain valuable feedback and insights for future Lean implementation at their business. Individuals who achieve Lean Certification have demonstrated the ability to employ applied knowledge to real-world situations and are ready to lead their company through ongoing improvements that directly affect the bottom line.
