Administrative Lean is a set of guidelines used to improve office function by eliminating waste and non-value-added activities. Office waste can take the form of excess paperwork, redundant approvals, inefficient work area design, incomplete or inaccurate information and complex tracking systems. At the end of this four-hour workshop, personnel will understand the principle of Lean and its value and be able to identify waste in current administrative processes, pinpoint Lean building blocks to reduce or eliminate waste, and understand the value of implementing Lean in the office.

Understand the principles of Lean and the benefits of implementation in your office
Develop the ability to identify waste and apply Lean techniques to reduce or eliminate them
Identify the Lean building blocks that reduce or eliminate waste
Gain an understanding of the Value Stream Mapping tool, when to apply it and how to apply metrics to define success
Develop team building and leadership in planning the implementation of Value Stream Mapping
This workshop will introduce you to tools that will help you and your office be more efficient and increase customer experience satisfaction. Throughout the session, participants will be engaged in discussions and group activities in which they will identify waste and apply Lean techniques to reduce or eliminate them. Participants will be introduced to the Value Stream Mapping process tool.
