PACE is a program designed specifically to enhance the training and knowledge base of today’s early childhood educators and administrators.
This program, offered through HighReach Learning in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-Stout, provides the early childhood professional with an opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Individuals should check the specific licensing requirements for their own state. Published quarterly, each issue of PACE will include four research-based professional articles evaluated by a faculty review board at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and approved for continuing education units.
To earn CEUs the participant must complete the comprehensive examination in each issue. This examination will be presented as a true/false, multiple choice, matching, and/or application section test and will incorporate issues covered in the coordinating articles. The participant then sends the test to University of Wisconsin-Stout for evaluation.
Upon successful completion of the test (with a score of 80% or higher), participants will be awarded one CEU from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. In the course of a year, participants will have the opportunity to earn a total of four CEUs equal to 40 training hours.
