University of Wisconsin-Stout in association with the Iman’s Early Learning Centre, Amman, Jordan offers an early childhood education professional development program based on the text and supplemental materials of Working with Young Children by Dr. Judy Herr. The program is taught on site in Jordan by teachers who have received specialized training from University of Wisconsin-Stout early childhood education professors. The professional development program is certified by the Jordan government Ministry of Education.
 
This professional development program provides 200 hours of on-site, practical instruction through the Iman’s Early Learning Centre and an additional 100 hours provided on line by University of Wisconsin-Stout with content that includes child development principles and theories, creating a safe and healthful environment, guiding children, and learning experiences for children, along with chapter assessments. Successful completion of the program results in 30 continuing education units from University of Wisconsin-Stout.
