What:

Spend five days and four nights on UW-Stout's campus and create your own interactive virtual world.

Work with Stout students and video game design faculty in the
School of Art and Designcomputer labs.

Campers will choose from one of the three tracks listed below:

* Game Design - THIS TRACK IS FULL
Come to UW-Stout and experience a world of gaming. Working with Stout students and faculty, campers will learn as they play and explore board games and game design. Discover the history of play, why gaming is more popular now than ever, and how the principles of game design apply to virtually every other field of study! Campers will play and analyze a variety of games, as well as work hands-on with the UW Stout game prototype lab to brainstorm ideas and create their own games. You’ll also get a unique peek into both the industry and hobby sides of tabletop games and how they influence and apply to video games.

* Interior Design
Learn what real interior designers do! The students will design a hangout space for their favorite
celebrity. While designing this space, students will learn about project programming, space planning, and how to create a color palette. They will learn about and choose finishes and furniture for the celebrity space. They will be hand rendering their floor plans, composing imagery boards and creating a full presentation of design boards depicting their creation.
We will also be showing current student work and interior design projects from around the world.

* Studio Art Track
Campers will explore a variety of hands on projects while practicing new drawing techniques. Drawing is an essential skill for all creative careers and students will gain new skills while exploring creative ways to communicate with drawing!
