Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) status denotes the instructors' proficiency in delivering the instruction required to support the diverse needs of a Cisco Certified Networking Academy (CCNA) classroom. It is designed to ensure that CCNA instructors are proficient in the academy curriculum and teaching methods.

The program utilizes the "trainer of trainers" model. UW-Stout ITM program will offer CCNA instructor training this summer from August 15-19. During the one week of training, you will mainly do the hands-on labs and one final lab. Network Fundamentals is the first in a series of four courses available to become a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor at the CCNA level.

The Cisco Networking Academy program for computer networking provides one of the best e-learning course materials in the world. The whole system comes with an integrated database which allows instructors to activate an exam for students, view the student grade book and roster; and students can access the e-learning material online via the Internet.

As an instructor, you'll gain access to an online course delivery and learning management system and resources such as class guides, lab manuals and innovative learning tools. The Networking Academy also provides online forums and support, instructor training courses, certification exam fee waivers and regional conferences and events.
