Crime Notice - Criminal Damage
Monday, December 29
UW-Stout Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage at Bowman Hall. On Sunday, December 28, 2014, at approximately 1:45am, someone gained entry to Bowman Hall and discharged a fire extinguisher in the building. The initial investigation shows that the perpetrator(s) likely entered the building through the east exterior doors before discharging the extinguisher which eventually activated the fire alarm system. The costs for the cleanup, and lost time, are expected to be quite high. This case is still under investigation. If you have any information on this crime, contact Sgt. Jason Spetz at 715-232-5076. Anonymous information can also be submitted through the UW-Stout Police web site or through Dunn County Crime Stoppers.
