In order to achieve efficiencies and improve service, the Physical Plant and SLS Facilities Management have merged into one department as the Physical Plant.
All requests for maintenance and repair of UW-Stout Academic and Student Life Services buildings, grounds and vehicles will be directed to the Physical Plant.
Effective July 31, 2007 requests by faculty and staff for maintenance and repairs and chargeback work, with the exception of emergencies*, must be submitted electronically via the following website; http://tma.uwstout.edu:83. Work requests requiring a chargeback to your department must be submitted by your account administrator using the login and password provided to the account admisistrator by the Physical Plant.
With the start of submitting electronic work requests, the Physical Plant will be able to provide both a more efficient service, and improved functionality. Some of the new functionality this service provides includes:
- E-mailing automatic updates of your work order status
- Providing the work order number to you via e-mail for reference when contacting Physical Plant
- Ability to review current and past work orders on-line
Once this service has reached a wider audience, new features, and functions will be rolled out.
