Welcome
Our Mission:
In partnership with students, staff and visitors, we serve and protect UW-Stout's diverse community.
What does this mean?
The staff in our office including program assistants, police officers and management worked together to provide an inclusive statement that gives you an idea of what we are all about. We work together in partnerships, with Housing & Residence Life, Dining Services, Student Services, Human Resources, Admissions, Faculty, Student Activities, Grounds and Building Maintenance, the City of Menomonie, plus many more. If you have had any contact with the University, from accessing the web pages to actually coming to school or working here, we have had some contact with you. It may not have been in person, but we pride ourselves in having a safe, clean, accessible community. In many cases, it's what you don't see that shows we have been effective and efficient.
We recognize that UW-Stout is a diverse community, consisting of over 7,700 students and 1,200 staff. We are a community within a community with 33 buildings on 110 acres within the City of Menomonie. We attempt to communicate with all, or at least be available for our customers when they need to talk to us. These web pages are one way this communication is accomplished.
Part of working in partnership is getting feedback from those that we service. We have provided for you to email each office with questions you may have. Just send to police@uwstout.edu or parking@uwstout.edu . We will get you a response in no more than a few days. For specific customer feedback, either complimentary or a concern, we have forms available to you. For parking services, customer service feedback form is forwarded directly to Sgt. Keith McCarten. For police services, the comment form is sent to Director Lisa Walter. In both cases, you can remain anonymous, or request a response.
Sincerely,
Lisa A. Walter
