Display a permit or park at a paid meter
The key to always parking legally is to park in a manner that is authorized by the university. You are authorized to park in a campus parking lot when you:
- Display a valid permit in your vehicle
- Park in a metered space and pay the meter
The surest way to know you're parked legally is to always either display a permit or park in a paid metered space.
Two other things to keep in mind are:
- Display your permit properly. Display instructions are provided with every permit
- Permit display and meter payment is only required during hours of regulation in a standard permit or metered space, however regulation of anything other than a standard space is 24 hours every day.
