Spanish for the Workplace Online Courses
University of Wisconsin-Stout has partnered with Pronto Spanish®, the leader in online occupational Spanish courses, to offer their “Spanish for the Workplace Online” series—the first on-line Spanish series devoted entirely to learning the basics of conversational Spanish to use at one’s job. These 11 interactive courses focus on conversation, incorporate visual images, audio, language tips, dialogues, pronunciation guides, and mini-assessments. No previous Spanish knowledge is necessary—simply a need and desire to communicate a few basic Spanish words and phrases to your co-workers.
These Spanish courses are designed for bridging the communication gap specifically in the workplace.
In addition to such basics as Spanish greetings, numbers, directions and time, the “Spanish for the Workplace” series includes lessons and vocabulary tailored especially for the industry used at the worksite.
Currently, the online occupation-specific Spanish courses are available for the following industries:
