INT'L Design Experience Conference
Join us September 25-27, 2008, at University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin for the 20th Anniversary of the Exchange Program at the INT’L DESIGN EXPERIENCE CONFERENCE.
This dynamic and unique conference provides participants the opportunity to celebrate 20 years of the exchange connection with HAWK, Hildesheim/Holzminden/Gottingen-University of Applied Sciences and Art in Hildesheim, Germany plus all other students that have studies with us or studied abroad including the countries of Singapore, England, Sweden and the Netherlands. All Art & Design alumni, faculty, and friends/family of the schools involved are invited. Art & Design participants directly involved in the exchanges or study abroad opportunities include:
- 200 students/alumni from the German exchange
- 84 students from other countries
- 33 students involved with College of Visual Arts in St. Paul (also connected with the same school HAWK)
The alumni involved in this exchange are from graphic design, interior design, industrial or product design, multi-media, color design or fine arts. The conference willl discuss connections and differences in design from the five participating countries. Topics will include ideas about green or sustainability, trends important to both American and European design, design business structures, and international opportunities for graduate school experiences.
