Degree Programs

University of Minnesota courses will be offered periodically at UW-Stout.

WCFE 8141 History and Philosophy of Work, Community, and Family Education: This course is required for the EdD / PhD in Education - Work, Community and Family Education program. It can also be used as an elective in Stout's Ed.S. in Career and Technical Education program.

WCFE 8915 Ethics and Responsible Research: This course can be used in the Ed.S. in CTE program at UW-Stout as a research elective and in the Ed.D./Ph.D. in Education program at the University of Minnesota.

REMINDER: You can be enrolled in both programs at the same time OR you can be enrolled in the Ed.S. and take these graduate courses even if you have not yet finished your U of MN application process. If you have not already applied to the University of Minnesota, you can take this course as a non-degree seeking student by completing this form: RequestforGraduateCredit.pdf.
