C6 Theta-Heart Brain Connection
Dave Andrae, Storyteller
Waukesha, Wisconsin
We spend the majority of our life in a Beta brainwave state with a small amount of time in Alpha and only a fleeting glimpse of Theta. By doing so, we deprive ourselves of the benefits, including reduced anxiety, a stronger immune system, enhancedcreativity, peak performances and a higher insight to problem-solving. In this session, we will use entertainment, which is the process of synchronization, where vibrations of one object will cause the vibrations of another object to oscillate at the same rate, connecting Theta with the Heart-Brain.
Dave Andrae is a storyteller and practitioner of ceremony and ritual. He has studied with the Oglala Lakota of South Dakota, the Yaqui of Arizona, and the Dani and Lani Stoneage tribes of Irian Jaya in western New Guinea. After two decades of experiencing various shamanistic practices it became apparent to Dave that the center of thought, including intention takes place in the heart. The heart is more than a mere pump, it is a highly complex, self-organized information processing center with its own functioning brain. His work has developed into a system of entrainment, the process synchronization where vibrations of one object will cause the vibrations of another object to oscillate at the same rate. Utilizing a Tibetan singing bowl along with drumming has enabled him to help individuals ease into deep realms of non-ordinary reality, connecting theta brainwaves with the heart.

C7 What Lies in Shadow: Our Unconscious Beliefs — How They Rule Our Lives — How They Can be Changed
Nathan Jacobson, Owner, Conscious Healings
Focusing on unconscious beliefs, this session will explain how these beliefs form in childhood and how they affect and shape our adult lives. With this understanding, the group will be guided in simple methods to uncover some hidden beliefs which lie near the surface and ways to transform them into beliefs they want to have. The session will also include discussion of the human energy field and how it contains all of our beliefs, both conscious and unconscious.
Mr. Jacobson’s healing practice is called Conscious Healings and works with people's psychology, personality and unconscious beliefs ... the things which create their lives from career and finances, to health and relationships and everything else. Utilizing the Brennan Model of Healing, Nathan incorporates multiple energy healing skills with personal process work to guide clients in becoming conscious of their habitual psychological distortion and then how they can regulate their energy field (personality) and correct their distortion.
