ART MAJOR ORIENTATION MEETING
4:00pm - 5:30pm
Applied Arts, Room 210
This required orientation will introduce the faculty and the Department of Art and Design to all new students entering the B.F.A. in Art: Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Multimedia Design, and Studio Art. This session will provide important program and department information. Breakout sessions with the faculty and student organizations from your chosen concentration will provide specific program details and suggestions.
EDUCATION MAJOR ORIENTATION MEETING
4:45pm - 5:30pm
Ballroom C, Memorial Student Center
This orientation will introduce the teacher education faculty, program directors, and student ambassadors to all new students entering Art Education, Career and Technical Education, Early Childhood Education, Family and Consumer Science Education, Marketing and Business Education, Science Education, Special Education, and Technology Education. This session will provide important program information but will also provide an opportunity for students to interact with faculty and upperclassmen in an informal setting. Student ambassadors will lead a faculty vs. student game of educational Jeopardy, with prizes awarded to the winning team. Light refreshments will be provided.
