International Student Tuition Scholarships

International Student Tuition Scholarships are available to qualified international students based on their academic achievement at UW-Stout, their participation in international cultural activities, and the availability of funding. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Continuing students who submit an application before the deadline for the following academic year are considered first. The value of the International Tuition Scholarship is as follows, and is awarded based on Grade Point Average (GPA):

Graduate Students

  • $4,000 per academic year*  GPA: 3.0-4.0

Undergraduate Students

  • $4,000 per academic year*  GPA: 2.5-3.0
  • $5,000 per academic year*  GPA: 3.0-3.5
  • $6,000 per academic year*  GPA: 3.5 and greater

Please note:
*Customized Instruction programs are not eligible for the International Tuition Scholarship.
