University of Wisconsin Stout | Wisconsin's Polytechnic University
That’s how employers describe UW-Stout graduates. Our innovative, career-focused degrees combine applied learning and the liberal arts.
Students interested in pursuing a higher education degree can explore what UW-Stout has to offer during one of two special days coming up.
Preview Days are scheduled on campus Monday, March 31, and Friday, May 2.
Registration for fall classes begins Thursday, April 3.
"If you are thinking about attending UW-Stout or would like to know more, the best way is to see it for yourself," said Pam Holsinger-Fuchs, executive director of Enrollment Services. "During Preview Days, you'll have a chance to view the campus, experience the atmosphere and meet faculty and students in person."
Other activities include meeting officials from various campus offices, such as financial aid, athletics, housing and the eStout laptop program. UW-Stout students will lead a panel discussion about life on campus, and visitors can text their questions to the students.
Those who can't attend Preview Days can attend a similar Stout Saturdays event April 5 or schedule a personal visit through the Admissions Office.
UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, was established in 1891. It offers 45 career-focused undergraduate programs. More than 97 percent of students typically are employed or continuing their education within a year of graduating.
